I’m sitting here contemplating on when to book my yearly checkup at the doctor and was overcome with unfairness. From the early beginnings of adulthood women have to go to the doctor every year to get poked and prodded…and not in a good way. Then when we have babies it is even more embarrassing with the appointments, not to mention what we actually go through during child birth.

Men? Well they are just “encouraged” to have their prostate checked…when, age of 40 or so? I mean I’m not sure I’d want to deal with the dangly bits but some sort of evenness would be nice!

So I’m doing a 9 day cleanse, supposed to help rid the body of toxins, help you lose a little weight and encourage you to create better eating habits. So does that mean I shouldn’t drink alcohol on this cleanse? Vodka doesn’t have too many calories does it? Should have picked a better week to do this…
